Project 2023 Dominican Republic Humanitarian Trip

Dates: Summer 2023

The Annual Dominicana Baseball Foundation Humanitarian Trip is one of the true highlights of the Dominicana Foundation. Due to COVID-19, the 2020, 2021, and 2022 trips were not possible. Many children and communities in the Dominican Republic benefit from the donations delivered during these annual trips. Thousands of dollars of clothing, toiletries, baseball equipment, and other essential items are donated to many of the poorest communities on the island. Youth participants in this trip lead the service projects in these communities while also having the opportunity to visit and train at numerous MLB facilities. Participants train and interact with local youth on the baseball field and get to see firsthand what Caribbean life is all about.

Charitable donations to Dominicana Baseball Foundation are vital to the success of this project. This trip provides excellent perspective to the youth participants who travel to the D.R., but also helps so many people in need.
